Hey everyone! Happy International Tabletop Day! What is International Tabletop Day? Well, it’s a day devoted to playing board games. It’s about sharing new games, playing old games, and being with friends and family.
Many stores, libraries, and restaurants are hosting events today. Some stores even have official Tabletop Day promo game pieces. There’s sales and contests about. Unlike other made up holidays, I can actually get behind this one. This is the 6th year for Tabletop Day, and my first celebrating it.
www.tabletopday.com is a website that lets you check and see if there are any events near you.
What am I doing today? Well, I’m cooking some Mexican food, inviting friends and family over, and playing some of my favorite games. We’re going to play games that accommodate up to 6 people. I’m thinking King of Tokyo, Zombie Dice, Saboteur, Code Names, and Chameleon just to name a few.
Even if you’re not going to any events today for Tabletop Day, I encourage you to bring out any game and play it with friends and family. Celebrate this day by sharing laughs, taking turns, and rolling some dice.
Once again, thanks for reading and Happy Tabletop Day!
Never knew!
Thanks for sharing😊
